Kastner GmbH produces numerous print products with such a high standard of environmental care that they are permitted to carry the Blue Angel label. These printed products, certified under DE-UZ 195, are manufactured in a resource-efficient and low-emission process.

What the certification guarantees
When print products and their production meet the criteria of the Blue Angel – that is, the requirements of DE-UZ 195 – the following are guaranteed:
- recycled paper makes up the majority of the material used
- only environmentally friendly printing inks are used
- the recyclability of the printed product is ensured
- good ink separation in the recycling process is guaranteed
- production uses particularly energy-efficient, electricity- and CO₂-saving machinery
Our printed products therefore protect resources, groundwater and the climate. The assessment and certification of the exceptional environmental performance of these products was carried out by RAL gGmbH. The Blue Angel label is supported by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety, the Federal Environment Agency, the Blue Angel Jury and RAL gGmbH.
